Converting .WAV files to .Mp3 without conversion software?

You can do this easily by opening it on Sound Recorder. Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Sound Recorder then file and open your .WAV file. Once it's opened go to File > Properties then click on "Convert Now..." then on format find " MPEG Layer-3" then click "ok" then "ok" again on the other window. Then...THIS IS IMPORTANT go to File > Save As... then where it says "Save as type" click on "all files" then name it with the file name you want it to be called then add " .mp3" to the end of it. and there you go! I hope I didn't confuse you.
