Girlfriend Thinks I Let Her Walk All Over Me?

My gf told me that she is blessed to have me BUT she feels like I let her walk all over me. She said that I should be able to stand up to her? I just always believed to treat your girl with respect, and I never want to be one of those jerky guys who order around their girlfriend. I dont feel like she uses me as a doormat. What did I do wrong?
