Is it impossible to get back an ex once they change their cell number on you and drop you online on facebook?

Hi all! I broke up with my girlfriend back in early January because I needed to get my life in order. After the break-up, I thought her and I would just stay friends. Well, it worked for a while until I realized a few weeks later after that that I really made a mistake and I wanted her back. I e-mailed her family and some friends to help us get back together and that made her upset and angry. I didn't know she would react this way. She felt that I pestered her. When I last saw her at her house, she told me to have a nice life and to move on without any emotion but I don't think she really meant it because she was mad and angry at me at the time. I still want to at least keep her around as a good friend. I also wouldn't mind getting her back as a girlfriend. I'm not ready to date again right now anyway. But, once I get my life turned around for the better, meaning getting a better job, getting in better physical shape, etc. do you think I should try to get in touch with her somehow in person because I don't have her number and she dropped me on facebook as a friend? Is it impossible to get back an ex once they change their cell number on you and drop you online on facebook? I'm not going to dwell on her and lose sleep but I wouldn't mind trying to peacefully reconcile with her in the future in a few months or so. It's also hard on me because her and I know know a lot of the same people. What do you think? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks!
