Should australia, japan, SK, India and the philippines join nato?

India should join NATO but India's friendship with USA must not be at the cost of its already established friendship with Russia...Remember that the USA has been friendly to India for only a few years whereas Russia has been friendly to India for decades. Had it not been for Russia, half of India would have been in the hands of Pakistan and the other half would have been in the hands of China...Whenever Pakistan attacked India with Chinese blessing, it was the Russians that helped India while the USA helped Pakistan. India must demonstrate that it is loyal to its friends. Russians have ALWAYS been there whenever India needed help so India shouldn't betray Russia like that...However I agree 100% that there needs to be better US India defence relations.
