Do you think this was wrong?

The other day i was street racing through a neighborhood and happened to hit what looked like a small child. I watched him limp home and then i sped off to win the race. he seemed like he had a few broken bones and maybe a concusion. I know I should have stopped to help, but the prize for the race was 2 grand. What should i have done?
