I really need help for finding a great funfundraising idea for my debate team that's non school funderaiser?

Ok our debate team at my HS needs money because we have a budget problem. So we decided to perhaps do a funderaiser. But a parent complained about it so we can't now as one of the only clubs. We can't fundraise according to our school. So we got together and decided that since we can't fundraise. We'll fundraise out of school because then it's non school related and it will cause no problems if it's on our own time. So do you have any fundraising ideas that are outside of school.
