Signs he might like me ?

I'm bi and I like my best friend . He's shown a lot of signs he might like me but I'm horribly scared of asking or telling him . I'm one of those people that need "proof" or someone to ask him for me . I don't wanna ruin our friend ship cus I'm not sure he's bi . Can someone give me signs to look for ? And is there something I could say or do that's "discrete" but make him make a move or ask me or something . Nothing obviois though . Anything would help thanks :) and please take thiss seriously I like him a lot . Thanks .
