What do I need to have a medical bracelet say about gastric byp surgery??

ibuprofen is an nsaid. a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. they are basically used as pain killers, stronger than paracetamol (panadol and tylenol). they have some side effects, such as bleeding in the gut. you having a gastric byp means they performed surgery on your gut- also increasing the risk of bleeding. because taking nsaids would make it more likely to bleed (which is bad, in case you havent realised yet), they are saying that you should have a medical bracelet saying that you shouldnt take them. in a hospital nsaids are basic pain medications, the bracelet would show that you shouldnt be taking them, aiding the doctors/nurses and decreasing your risk of potentially fatal complications.
