Have you ever been tought or shown how to butcher an animal for eating in cl in front of you?

Uhh... in our 6th or 5th grade cl, we had a live chicken and one of the pupils volunteered to chop it's head off. One of the school staff showed us how to clean the chicken and then we used the cleaned body of the chicken to make chicken salad for Home Economics Cl (it was compulsary).
